108 Doodles on a Masterpiece

Leonard was a very artistic individual who had a knack for drawing sketches and caricatures.  One day, while walking down a street after buying art supplies, Leonard noticed a piece of canvas fastened to a wall.  Leonard stopped and decided it would be funny to draw an amusing drawing on the canvas.  He took out some paints from his bag and drew a brightly colored picture with cutesy animals and a caricature of himself.

Leonard stepped back to admire his handiwork.  He was about to call his friends and tell them about his funny drawing on the wall when he realized the piece of canvas was part of a much larger painting that covered the entire wall.  It was a beautiful and majestic painting that filled Leonard with awe.  It was so vast that he didn't even recognize that it was there at first.  He could see the craftsmanship and the technique utilized in this painting.  Leonard then looked at the corner he painted on.  Leonard had defaced this masterpiece with his own bit of nonsense in the corner.  Leonard fell to his knees and started crying.  What was he thinking?

True conviction of sin occurs when a person realizes how his life goes against the design of God's plan and how his own selfishness has harmed himself and others around him.  Let us repent of all our sins and no longer deface the life God intended us to live!
