William had a great idea for a short film and was determined to see his vision come to life. He painstakingly wrote out a script treatment, bought all the necessary props, got a new video camera, and convinced his friends to be actors in his movies.
While shooting the short film, William noticed that all the dialogue that he wrote, while it sounded great on paper, actually was rather stilted when read aloud. When William stopped the scene to try to figure out how to improve the dialogue, his friend Janine offered several very good suggestions. William like Janine's suggestions so much that he asked her to edit all the dialogue in his script.
William also encountered another problem. Some of his props didn't look very good in the film. Jorge offered to help William with the props and costumes, which William gratefully accepted. William was amazed at how much better the short film started to look with Jorge's improvements.
Crystal volunteered to help William with the sound effects and music for the short film. William was astonished that he never noticed how talented Crystal was on the keyboard.
After all the video was shot, Harry asked if he could help William in the editing process. William gratefully accepted, as he realized he did not too much about video editing himself. All the cuts and transitions Harry put in made the short film flow so much better.
William finally uploaded the short film to the Internet and soon it became a viral sensation, getting over a million views. All of William's friends congratulated him on his success, but William replied that he cannot take credit for the success. William told his friends that he may have had the initial idea, but it was because of their work, that his vision was realized. William thanked his friends and told him that he could never have done the short film without their help.
Why do we go to church? Some Christians feel that they could probably do just as well reading the Bible on their own at home instead of going to church every week. However, they will miss out the fellowship with like-minded believers, to be able to sing together, encourage each other, and to learn from each other. We do not go to church just for ourselves, but to commune with others and join together in worship of our loving God!
