148 Hidden World
Sarah lived on a small island and had swam in the lagoon all her life ever since she was a small child. She enjoyed swimming in the lagoon, but she took it for granted. She would just smile when her friends who traveled from afar to visit her to tell her how lucky she was. Sarah didn't think it was such a big deal.
One day, Sarah's friend came over and encouraged her to learn how to go scuba diving. Sarah was apprehensive at first, but she agreed to it. After a few weeks of shallow water training, Sarah went scuba diving in the lagoon for the first time.
Sarah was amazed at what she saw while scuba diving. There was all this diversity of life, with fish swimming and crustaceans scurrying about on the sea floor. Beautiful coral and plants dotted the sea floor landscape.
Sarah's mind filled with a swirl of images as she slowly came up to the boat. She was swimming on the surface all these years and was never aware of this amazing hidden world beneath her.
The Bible is a book we all know about and may even take for granted. However, it is full of spiritual riches we can uncover if we only take the time to dig beneath the surface.
