45 Arcane Knowledge of the Mystics
Seth has been on a quest for knowledge his entire life. He was searching for Truth. Seth read all the books on philosophy and science and debated with philosophers and scientists, but none of them seemed to have any satisfactory answers to his questions. He heard rumors that mystics in the East who had arcane knowledge and would be able to teach him the things he desired to know.
Seth made the arduous pilgrimage to learn from these wise men. He trekked across treacherous terrain for weeks, almost losing his life several times. Seth scaled a desolate mountain and pushed forward despite the swirling wind and snow. Finally, pushed to the limits of physical and mental endurance, he successfully climbed to the top of the mountain and saw the temple of wise men in his view. Weary and half-dead, Seth collapsed at the entrance of the temple.
The wise men took Seth in and nursed him to health. Impressed with his drive and hunger for knowledge, they took him in as an acolyte and trained him in their ways. After years of study, while Seth learned a great many things, he eventually realized that these mystics were no closer to the Truth than the philosophers and scientists in his homeland. "Where can I find and learn the Truth?" cried out Seth as he peered into the vast heavens above him.
You do not need a guru or make a long pilgrimmage to learn the Truth. In fact, finding the Truth is a lot easier than you may think. The Truth is in the Bible, God's Word and message to mankind. Read and study the Bible to see for yourself. Pray to God and ask Him to reveal the Truth to you!
