58 War Hits Home
The United States initially did not want to get involved in World War II. The US declined when they were initially asked by Britain to join the war against the Axis. The US considered the wars going on in the Pacific and Europe to be local wars that they should not concern themselves with. The US was willing to help Britain by supplying arms, but the US wanted no direct military involvement.
However, everything changed on December 7, 1941 when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and made simultaneous attacks on the Philippines, Midway Island, and Guam. There were over 2000 military and civilian casualties as a result of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The US knew it could not sit on the sidelines any longer. The US declared war on Japan and entered Word War II. War had hit home.
We will all be caught up in spiritual warfare whether we like it or not. There will be no neutrality in the controversy between God and Satan. Please pray without ceasing, make every preparation, and ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit to resist the powers of evil!
