284 A Flower for God
If you could be a flower for God, what would you choose to be?. Most people would likely choose to be a rose to be a rose to reflect the beauty of Christ. Some others might choose to be a sunflower, tilting towards the light of Christ. A few may even choose to be a fragrant flower, bringing joy to those who smell it.
However, if I had to choose, I would want to be a dandelion. Why a lowly dandelion, you might ask? While I would not be as beautiful or as pleasant-smelling as other flowers, as a dandelion, I would be able to spread Gospel seeds far and wide, as far as the wind of the Spirit would carry them.
I may never know what happens to those seeds in my lifetime, but I may be astonished to see the result of those seeds in heaven!
