- This week's Bible verse is James 1:13 - Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- Ellen G. White wrote that temptation was a way for testing those who claim to be children of God. God allows circumstances to arise that test people's faith, so that they would realize He is their Helper and they would come to seek Him for help. If we draw closer to God in our time of temptation, He will strengthen us and give us the power to overcome that temptation!
